At HUSTLE, our spice is variety.  Our classes are high energy, meaningful and creative.  With the support of our experienced coaches we strive to provide workouts that leave you wanting more.

So, whether you have been working out for years, are rehabbing an injury, are going through a prenatal/postpartum journey or fitness is new to you, let’s do this together.  All fitness levels welcome.

BOOTY

Class Description:
In this lower body focused class, we will combine high intensity cardio with strength training to burn that booty. And of course, we can’t forget those inner thighs, outer glutes, hamstrings, quads and calf muscles.

Class Description:
Taking a detour on our traditional BOOTY class by adding in core focused movements and ditching the cardio elements to maximize the efforts of the lower body in coordination with the entire core system.

Class Description:
This class is designed to bring awareness to the use of the pelvic floor in connection with learning to lift heavy through successful core stability. As we age we are more prone to injury, by using these exercises we should see improved bone density, balance, stamina and coordination. Options for low and high impact movements.

Class Description:
This mat Pilates inspired class uses balance, stability and body awareness to strengthen muscles, ignite the core and improve postural alignment.  Learn how to support the spine, mobilize the pelvic floor and tune into what your body needs for overall health. This is a low impact workout.

Class Description:
Leave the fear of lifting heavy behind and embrace your new found strength.  We will combine High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), short bursts of intense exercise with a smart program to build muscle.

Class Description:
Our classic Control class set to the beat of the music.  Using rhythm as the guide, movements will work on your range of motion, stability, balance and strength. You can also expect some feel good core exercises to ignite your body.

Class Description:
This class will mobilize you through active stretching in the spine, shoulder and hips, and end with static relaxing stretches. Learn to explore the outer limits of your mobility, center yourself in your body and recover from the hard work you have done and will do throughout the week.

MOVE

Class Description
Set to a fiery playlist, MOVE flows through a series of upper body, lower body and core exercises. Work to develop a strong mind to muscle connection while increasing your cardio endurance, improving body awareness, and developing stamina.

Class Description:
Leave the cardio behind and get ready for a full body strength-focused class. Our coaches will take you through a series of strength-building movements with a major focus on form. Don’t be fooled, just because there is no cardio, doesn’t mean you won’t leave this class breathless & sweaty.

Class Description:
This mat based, circuit-style workout has been carefully designed to test your limit and power up your strength and conditioning using timed intervals.

TRX STRENGTH

Class Description:
This is not your average TRX class- get ready to stay in a constant state of movement. We will push, pull, twist and balance to improve posture, strength and flexibility. You choose the challenge as body position on the TRX adds or decreases resistance.

THE LU METHOD:
PRENATAL + POSTPARTUM MAMA

At The LU Method we love, honour and take care of our mamas through carefully designed classes that span multiple fitness modalities aimed at building trust in the body, strength in the mind and support for the baby.

You are welcome to bring the babies to our postpartum workout sessions.  We can provide bouncers, rockers, exersaucers, Jolly Jumpers and toys for the babies as needed.

PRENATAL PILATES + CORE

Class Description:
With the principles of Pilates, this class is designed to support the pregnant body with a focus on better understanding how the core system works to support a growing belly.  We will do a deep dive into prepping the pelvic floor for birth which includes engaging and releasing those often tight and overworked muscles.  Additionally, the emphasis on breath control and relaxation techniques can reduce stress and prepare you for labour.

PRENATAL STRENGTH

Class Description:
The ultimate workout for prenatal bodies. You will be carefully guided through a low impact training session designed to build confidence, empower the mind and strengthen the body during pregnancy. Mamas are coached in labor prep postures, breathing techniques, core stabilization, and life with babies. Postpartum mamas are always welcome.

POSTPARTUM + BABY: PILATES + CORE

Class Description:
Using key principles from Pilates, we aim to establish a healthy connection to the pelvic floor, our bodies and mind after birth.  This class is centered around drawing attention to the power of the breath to support functional movement needed to care for babies while taking care of the postpartum body.  Our classes can be taken when you are ready to begin movement and breath work based on conversations with your healthcare providers. Babies are welcome!

Postpartum + Baby: Strength

Class Description:
This practice is for mamas and babies. We work to feel strong, reactivate good posture, reclaim confidence and relieve tension. This class encourages bonding with babies in a nurturing environment. Baby massage, when time permits. Babies are welcome to attend until they are crawling. Prenatal mamas are always welcome as well as mamas that would like to leave their babies with caregivers.

MAMA MOVE

Class Description:
Specifically designed for mamas that are ready to MOVE beyond our Postpartum +Baby classes approximately one year after birth. You can expect the beginning of class to include a good dose of pelvic floor work to ignite the core. Then, it will be time to push your cardio threshold with optional high impact movement. Class will finish off with strength conditioning and a fluid stretch. So we are calling all Toddler Mamas minus the little ones for this workout because it’s the after-hours bedtime fitness party!
