A motivational lifestyle specialist based in Vancouver, Canada, Lucy inspires change through long-lasting healthy lifestyle choices. Moving with her will elevate your fitness level, create discipline, and provide personal accountability.

Lucy is an owner and the Master Instructor at Spin Society Indoor Cycling Studio, Master Trainer at Lagree West, and a coach at Rock Steady Boxing for people fighting Parkinson’s Disease. Not enough? – she also teaches TRX, yoga, group fitness and personalized workouts. Lucy is the creator of her own fitness method – Hustle + Flow Yoga and Move by LU. Three years running, she’s been voted by Class Pass members as Vancouver’s Best Instructor and Most Moving Instructor.

Can you actually imagine looking forward to your workout!? She will make it happen, she will get you hooked! Always optimistic – her classes will challenge you, change you, and uplift you.

Those who know Brent know that he has 3 passions in life: Family, Fitness and Travel. Growing up extremely overweight, Brent didn’t discover his love for health and fitness until his late 20’s when he weighed over 300 lbs. Six years of unwavering commitment to himself has led him to a place he has never thought possible: The Co-Owner of HUSTLE. Brent also holds the role of Senior Instructor for Spin Society where he not only leads sweat filled classes; he also trains the newest and best instructors in the city. Knowing exactly how his clients and community feel about the thought of healthy living, Brent prides himself on dedicating his life to leading others through the rough waters of weight loss, self-esteem issues and the overall journey to self-love.

Tension, grit, and a strength is bound to take you to the dark side in Brent’s classes. Athleticism is at the center of everything he does where every movement has purpose and every class has the power to make a difference in your life.

Anil Rawal

Trainer + Boxing Coach

One could pretend Anil was a lifelong athlete, but this would be a lie. He spent his childhood watching TV, reading books, and eating non-stop. At 18, he was at his heaviest and utterly miserable.

All he wanted was to feel like he had some worth. Some value. Fitness gave him that gift; it literally saved his life.

Anil has over 20 years of experience in bodybuilding, CrossFit, spin, functional training, and boxing conditioning. He is a certified fitness trainer through ACE, and always believes in giving 110% to everything he does.

In Anil’s classes, you can expect to get strong like a warrior. Train like a fighter. Build the heart of a champion. And immerse yourself in pride and self-worth you never knew you had.

Vanessa Newly 

Trainer

 Former office manager turned full time fitness instructor. Life is too short to feel unfulfilled, right!? Vanessa left the office behind, and decided to pursue her passion in fitness full time.

She’s all in – a BCRPA Certified Personal Trainer, Senior Spin Instructor, and Group Fitness Instructor; fitness isn’t her job, it’s a lifestyle!

You can expect a high energy class from this former world level cheerleader! She’ll bring you the pep, but don’t expect any sugar coating – if you’re ready to get motivated while being pushed to your limit, Vanessa is your girl!

Aili Storen 

Yoga Teacher

 

Aili is a Vancouver based Yoga Teacher. Aili focuses on a mindfulness based physical practice that inspires you to get comfortable with your body, trust in your own inner and outer strength and challenges you to grow into places you didn’t know that you could. She loves movement and believes that the body is so much more capable than the mind allows us to think.

Aili trained in Australia and throughout Canada and has been teaching full time for the past eight years. She teaches Power Vinyasa, Yin, Hatha, and Flow. She also is an athlete herself with a passion for distance running, climbing and swimming and is an avid practitioner of mindfulness meditation. She’s a stoked handstander, baker, and dogless dog lover. Aili’s class will leave you feeling connected, challenged, empowered and grateful for this thing we call life.

Kandis Jamieson 

Trainer

 

Growing up Kandis was never an athlete and almost always the underdog. She was laughed at in class, bullied for her size and used to eat her lunch in bathroom stalls in order to avoid people.

But not anymore! Through finding her passion as a personal trainer and nutritionist; Kandis has been able to transform not only her body but her mind as well. Fitness has changed her life for the better and she is determined to help others do the same.

In class you better believe Kandis will push you! She won’t let you give up, she won’t accept no, but she will do it right along with you; always supporting and encouraging you.

Health and wellness is her lifestyle; through coaching motivation, nutrition & exercise training she will help you to look and feel your very best. She is Canfit Pro, TRX Suspension training, and Precision Nutrition certified.

Mikaela Desmarais 

Trainer

Marketing coordinator by day, fitness instructor by early morning and night. With a deep-seated love for fitness, Mikaela made her passion her side hustle in 2018, joining Spin Society as an instructor. With 10+ years as a world’s level gymnast and cheerleader, group training has always been her favourite way to exercise. Always on the move and always looking for new ways to sweat, Mikaela’s love for group fitness brought her to the doors of Hustle.

Expect high energy, the occasional bad joke, and a fiery attitude.
